Jeremy Trifold Birthday

Casie at Living in a Crazie Little World posted the cutest trifold birthday card on the MB.

Anyways, I am kinda excited about this one, my brother's birthday is on the 27th!

Zooballoo for the font
Animal Kingdom for frog face & frog border
PDDU for big frog on front

I pop-dotted the big frog & the borders (this is my first popped project! so exciting!)

I inked Happy BDay so it would stand out more with ColorBox liquid chalk "ice blue"

Neil Birthday

I tried to scraplift an idea, I don't think it turned out quite as well as I wanted.

Zooballo font
Animal Kingdom frog face

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

I have been trying to make my grandmother a card for every holiday. Of course, I have already missed a few. The idea was sparked when I created the Christmas thank you card. Well, this will be the 2nd card I send to her! I'm so excited to hear what she has to say about it!

JOTS: card base (I like this one the best, no extras!)
PDDU: shamrock
PSB: squares
Divine swirls embossing
Stickles on corners of squares
Target $1 ribbon
Michaels $1 bin tiny stamps
ColorBox inks in gold on "Pinch Proof" & the embossing

I tried to make my own skittles, but I failed miserably. It probably didn't help that I accidentally hit it messing up the middle 2!!

Inside:
Mickey Font & Jasmine Font welded in DS
same cheapy ribbon, it was so pretty, but I think there was a grand total of 1ft in there! What you see on this card is all there was except about 3 inches.

Stair Step - Leaves

Okay, so there's this new craze going around about stair step cards...Of course I had to jump on the bandwagon!

Diane, at Capadia Designs, is a very talented lady from the MB who is very willing to share her cut files with all us scrappers!

Here is my take on the stair-step card! But I am struggling as I had no plans on what this could be for! My only thought was to put the letters "F-A-L-L" on each leaf...but that means that I would have to keep the card for almost a year! I was hoping that there would be something more applicable sooner! haha

Thanks for looking!

Purse Tagged

Wow! I really am starting to feel like a member of the blogging community. Especially when I got tagged and I have been receiving a few comments!

Yes, I was tagged, but unfortunately I don't know who to tag back! Well, anyways, I will just share it with you!

I was tagged by Lori at Live, Laugh, Scrap

While I was in school, I didn't carry a purse, I simply would put my wallet in my backpack & go! Now, it has been almost a year since my graduation, I kinda needed to get a few. I actually still don't have to carry one to work, I am a nurse and I keep all my resource stuff in a backpack and ,you guessed it, I put my wallet in my bag! haha!

Anyways, I got this one at Aeropostale for about $10 (yes, clearance). It's mostly my winter bag because I think it looks wintery - like a sweater! I was thinking of changing soon because this one has only the one big pocket...and that is soooo unorganized it bothers me!

OK, the rules:
1) Show a pic of the purse you are using right now - not last weekend, when you had a great date or special occasion - NO CHEATING!!!
2) Tell us how much it cost - No judgements will be made. And if there is a story behind the purse or you you got - Tell Us Please!!
Well here is my purse........

Waterfall Birthday

I am so unbelievably excited about these! I saw an awesome YouTube video on how to make waterfall cards! So even though it was the wee hours of the morning, I thought I must give this a shot.

This first one I did make the mistake of gluing the pull side to the top of the card...hence the stamped cover up! This made the pull strip weaker to be pushed up to the starting position.

But I must say it is pretty cool for my first try!

Happy Birthday is from Paper Pups cart

I CB "spots & dots" to the horizontal strip

Stamps are Stampabilities (square) & Studio G in ColorBox "warm violet."

I also just got into embossing (loads of fun!) The stamps, and tops of the CB strip are embossed in clear.

Thanks for looking!

Grandad's Birthday

Camron (my nephew) wanted to make a birthday card for Grandad (who's birthday is all the way at the end of March! Camron is 5 by the way! hah!

Anyways, here it is! I peiced the characters together & he glued them on. Top part of the inside is supposed to say his name and then it says Happy Birthday!

Cartridges used: Mickey & Friends and Animal Kingdom

Of course, my baby Ginger had to be in the picture!

I used PPDU & welded 2 castles together in CDS.

Chalked around the windows for added dimension!

I have recently had an aversion to sponges. I just recently learned to knit with the use of a teach yourself book

I made some dishcloths using 100% cotton yarn. These are my "scrubbers"

I found these small swatches of Nylon yarn (in red) at WalMart for $0.97! Casting on 20 stitches, with size 10 aluminum needles & 100% knit stitches, it made the perfect square & size for a pot scrubber!
