Flower Card ~ P is for Pearl

I don't know where the term "bloom where you're planted" came from, so I don't really know what to use this card for. But I thought that the saying went well with the theme of the card!
The idea came from wanting to use my new rub-on flowers (bottom right). Then I found my ribbon that was a perfect color! Then I found that the flowers I bought (cheapos from walmart that I took off the "stem" instead of paying out the wazoo for primas). Then I was cruising the blogs & found the ABC Challenge one! They want us to use pearls for this weeks challenge. The card just made itself! I love that! My stamps are stampology & I used Wildcard for the saying.

Graduation Card

I completely scraplifted this idea from someone. I was going to post the link to her card for credit...but the Cricut website is down. Wahhh!!! I will edit this once it is up & I find her post again! Here it is!!
I used Wildcard only on this card!
My cousin is graduating high school soon, but I won't be able to go to her graduation because of work. But hey, any excuse to make a card!
Her colors are navy, red & gold.
Thanks for looking!

Birthdays & Skulls

What a combo!!
My little sister's birthday & my little brother-in-law's birthday are 1 day after the other in July. They are both into the 'emo' styles. So I thought that the skulls off of Indie Art would be perfect! I hope the like them!
Clarification: it is my little sister & my husbands little brother. They are not a couple. Someone thought they were & they were shocked because they seem a little too young to be married! haha

Flower Pot Card

I followed one of Dawns videos for this one! I love the idea! You can make 3 pot bases with 1 sheet of 12x12 paper (and I think I had extra for the pull tab - enough for 2 I think)
Anyways, I wish I had done more flowers, but was getting soo sleepy! :) Flowers are from Plantin, CB tiny mosaic.
I gave it to my Grandaddy, thanking him for my birthday money...I think I am going to invest it in...stickles! hahaha

Tilda Sitting with Bow

Thanks to Aprile I have ANOTHER stamp to color!! She sent a few along with this month's challenge & it's all so exciting to me!!!

Here I colored the Tilda with Prisma & OMS (I use the Mona Lisa brand)
Cut her out
Sat her on some ribbon from my stash (actually think this is the leftovers from making our wedding invitations) & pop dotted her up.
--You know how your blue jeans are lighter at the cuff when you roll them, I was trying to achieve this effect! Cool!!!
Cut the bottom with Threading Water Fiskars punch Added some buttons I got from a garage sale (I got TONS for about $5)
The sentiment is a plain cheapy from M's using Stampabilities Baby Blue ink, clear embossed & popped.
The green piece under "Thanks" is using Swiss Dots & I sanded the dots to show the white core!!

Rounded the corners on the card and inked the edges with the Baby Blue! Call it done!

Haven't figured out how I'm going to do the inside -

But I was so excited I couldn't wait to post!
COOL huh?? I LOVE IT!

May MCPT

Thanks to Aprile for the beautiful stamp in this month's MCPT challenge! It's Gruffies Lilac Boquet!
This is my first post in this challenge and I'm so excited to get involved!
I used my Prismacolors & Gamsol for the image.
Added some buttons & ribbon (I think its MS) from my stash.
I used the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder in my CB
The little stamp is a studio G used with Versamark ink, colored with chalk & clear embossed...totally cool.

I don't know what occasion I would use this for...maybe "Thinking of You"?
