Anniversary & Valentines cards

Okay - it's been a LONG time since I've posted on here!

First one I used Indie Art for the heart, inked the circle after embossing with swiss dots & scored lines along the left & bottom. Prima flowers & a homemade stickle with "Butterscotch" alcohol inks.

2nd: Image from Aprile's monthly MCPT, Prima flower, stash button. Storybook used for the card base.

Baby Gifts and Matching Cards!!

I am sooo proud of myself on these! I worked my little tush of on them! I wanted cards to match the gift bags, and I did so!

I had the perfect paper to match the stripes - which gave me the idea in the first place!
Elephant & Lion are from Zooballoo
ions mane is actually recycled from a magazine that had a sample of the "fleece sweater." I cut it out about a week ago & didn't have a use for it then, and I am so glad that I did cut it out!

Christmas Cards

Just got 2 new cartridges in the mail the other day & I had to play with them. I made 10 cards of each design for a swap.

A Childs Year

Christmas Cheer
I found a shiny/glossy paper pack at WalMart & thought it would be perfect for the lightbulbs!

More Christmas Cards

Here are more I made for a swap

This one used JOTS for the penguin.
$1 stamp from Ms
EK Success Snowflake punch

Snowflake embossing folder
It was some paper from Sams (2 sided)
The core was white, so I lightly sanded the top, making all the snowflakes white against the blue background
$1 stamp from Ms

Cup from JOTS
Used vellum to cut the steam -- can you see it?? :)

Christmas Cards

I've made more Christmas cards for a swap..here they are!

This first set, I made after seeing one of the videos from the Pink Stamper (see video here)
I used the floral fantasy embossing folder & inked the bottom half with white ink.
Ribbon from my stash across the middle.
The flower is from Joys of the Season.
I made a small stencil with the flower cut & used it with glimmer mist & made a small shimmery flower as a 'shadow'
I love that technique!

The trees here are from doodlecharms!

Carrie's Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my sister-in-law. Actually, it's kinda a 1st for me. I usually don't use patterned paper...odd... I mean, this is my first time with Prima papers too!
I love it!
-Storybook for designs on front of card & envelope.
-Glossy accents in the center of card design
-Jasmine for her name & inked
-CB Swiss dots for one on front of envelope (I used SusieB's idea for the rubber packing mat, but only put it on the center of the flower so the swirls on the sides weren't touched! Awesome!

BOAB 2 - Notecards

Love these! First non-font cut I did from Storybook.
Used little bling in the middle of the flowers & popped the middle part up with dots.
I made 4 notecards.

BBTB & BOAB 2 - ATC Cards

BBTB is having another contest!! Make whatever you want, just make it apply to school & must use one cricut cut!! With the instructions for the contest, there wasn't a time frame of when this could be made - so hopefully this will still be okay!
These are the ATC cards made for my partner "Osheasmom" Keisha
She is about to graduate & become a teacher :)

This was the first "word" for the project & was probably my favorite part!
A+ is from Plantin
The 2 frames are from Storybook
Swiss dots embossing with a little inking!! I love to ink my stuff!!

Hedgies Fishing

This adorable stamp is for the June MCPT challenge (click link)
I used Animal Kingdom for the fishies & popped
MS branch punch for the seawead
An old bag from some cheese (great idea!)
And the tiny bubbles folder on my background - the paper was 2 sided with white core. So after I embossed it, I just sanded it!
I haven't done anything with the inside, because I have no idea what I'm going to use it for!

Thanks for looking!

Wedding Card

A good friend of mine is getting married soon (but in the Caribbean...wish I could go). So at work, we are having a "wedding" party for her!
Of course we are all going to bring Mexican food! Mmmmm!!

So, I'm really proud of this card & don't wanna let it go! But I know she will love it! She is a fellow scrapper & will understand the time spent! I just need to convince her she really needs a Cricut!!

I plan to use my glue dots & put a gift card on the inside right flap.

UPDATE!! Lexi absolutely loved it! She said that she was going to put it on the shelf above all her craft stuff for inspiration! :) Go me!

4th of July - Joy Fold

Here's another Joy fold!! I've had this idea stuck in my head for a while!!

I used Wild Card (the star card - but I welded the 2 together flipped so I didn't get the "square half." On the front star, I inked with my sparkle gel pen in blue. On the inside, I cut another star & cut off the other side. Stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly. Then embossed with spots & dots.
The white stripes on the front are around 1/4" thick (a little more)
Added the doily punch to the bottom.
Inking & doodling here & there
A little brad to hold down the star

It was really fun! Since we will be out of town for the 4th, I plan to give this to my MIL or his Aunt.
